Fees and other details

How much you will pay for psychotherapy

As a therapist in training, I am able to provide psychotherapy services at a low cost well below market price. I currently charge 70$ per 50 minute session with financial accommodations possible based on your circumstances.

In Canada, psychotherapy services are often covered by group benefits provider. I would be happy to help you look into this and provide any additional information you may need.

What happens if you need to cancel

Your weekly therapy time is saved for you, so it’s important to let me know if you cannot attend one of our appointments. My cancellation policy requires at least 24 hours notice. If you are not able to provide 24 hours notice, I will have to charge you for the full session fee.

How we will meet online

Should you choose to work together after our initial consultation, I will set you up on Jane, the online platform I use to practice psychotherapy. From there, you will be asked to fill in a few intake forms.

Every week, the Jane platform will send you appointment reminders two days before we meet, and a unique video meeting link one hour before our session. Simply click that link at the time of our appointment to join the online room.

How you will pay and get your receipt

On Jane, you can add a credit card to your profile and have it automatically charged after each session. If you prefer to pay manually, I accept Interac eTransfers. In either case, I will send you a receipt after each session, which you can then submit to your group benefits plan if applicable.
